Record Stop Releases Two Exclusive Puscifer Vinyl Albums

Mike Gomez

Two new Puscifer vinyl records are coming to Record Stop!

Parole Violator

This Parole Violator exclusive colored LP is a live, track-by-track re-imagination of the band's critically-acclaimed 2011 album, Conditions of My Parole. Available for the first time on vinyl, it was recorded as part of the band’s double feature Pay-Per-View 'Parole Violator: A Puscifer Concert Film Featuring Conditions Of My Parole' - rechristened "Parole Violator."

The story goes: 'Billy D is in jail, Hildy is on the war path and Peter Merkin, as usual, is up to no good. The saga of the Bergers continues as Puscifer pairs the duo's ongoing melodrama with a live, track-by-track re-imagination. Puscifer’s performance is married to striking visuals, dramatic lighting, and in a nod to the band's 2011/2012 tour in support of the collection, closes with a campfire sing-a-long.' (Source:

The album will be produced in three different color variations. Apart from being available on the band's website (, Record Stop (Long Island, Charleston, online) is happy to announce that we are the exclusie vinyl shop to carry this new record - in an exclusive opaque-green-colored vinyl.

V Is For Versatile
A Puscifer Concert Film Featuring Music From The “V Is For” era

This live soundtrack, issued simply as “V Is For Versatile“, coinciding with the recent Puscifer pay-per-view - filmed and recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles. It features newly re-imagined recordings of Puscifer classics from the “V is for” era - entirely new arrangements and recordings. Old songs becoming new songs, all over again.

The description for that film (and now live album) runs as follows:

'Puscifer takes you into the famed studios of Los Angeles' Sunset Sound, where everyone from Led Zeppelin to Van Halen to Elton John and Tom Waits recorded classic albums. In this live performance piece, the band invites fans behind-the-scenes as they re-interpret and re-record songs from their 'V is for' era. Agent Dick Merkin, Major Douche, the briefcase and a few surprise cameos are interspersed amongst the studio footage.'

Puscifer V is for Versatile Translucent Black
Released on four color variants, Record Stop will be the sole location to carry the translucent black version. Get yours here:

Puscifer is an American rock group formed in Los Angeles by Maynard James Keenan, known as the lead singer of the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle. As Keenan is the only permanent member, he considers the project to be his "creative subconscious."

Aside from their website, Record Stop is the only place you can buy these two records - and the only place to get the two color variants shown above: Parole Violator in opaque green and V is for Versatile in translucent black!
