Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson inaugurated the G3 Tour concept 28 years ago which put them on stage together for the first time ever. In 2024, G3 reunited for a sold-out run of US dates. “Reunion Live” is that experience and much more than “just” a live album: a “new” album from each artist plus a new LP from a certified supergroup. Deluxe Edition artist LPs are each on different colored vinyl and the “jam” LP is a splatter version of the three. The 64-page photo book has a section on each guitarist and one captures the encore jam. All formats contain the full G3 show. The 2CD set features a 16-page photo booklet. Following the recent successes of Joe’s “The Elephants of Mars,” Steve’s “Inviolate” and Eric’s “The Book of Making” albums, fans are ready for new music from G3.
