Universal's budget-line 2013 release Icon contains 11 of Kenny Rogers' biggest hits -- nearly all of his recognizable anthems, actually, including "Lucille," "The Gambler," "You Decorated My Life," "Coward of the County," "Don't Fall in Love with a Dreamer," "Lady," "Love Will Turn You Around," and "We've Got Tonight." There is nothing from the First Edition -- no "I Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)," no "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town" -- and "Islands in the Stream" is absent, but this is still a nice dose of Rogers' very, very best. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
